Vincin Daniel Sablan Cruz, Jr., age 52, of Honolulu, Hawai‘i, passed away on June 4, 2026. Affectionately known as “Vince,” “Uncle Champ,” and “Saimin Noodles,” he will be remembered with deep love by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Vince was known for his generous heart, warm spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him. He had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, whether through his humor, his stories, or simply his presence. He cherished time spent with loved ones and created lasting memories with family and friends throughout his life.
He is survived by his beloved family members, who will continue to honor his legacy and carry forward the values he held dear. Vince’s impact on those who knew him will not be forgotten, and his memory will live on in the hearts of many.
A “Saimin’s Last Stand” fundraiser will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Artistry Honolulu, located at 461 Cooke Street. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Hawaiian Memorial Park, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kāne‘ohe. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., with services to follow immediately after.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.

Vincin Daniel Sablan Cruz, Jr., is survived by Vicente "Vince" Cruz, Encarnacion "Connie" Cruz, Encarnacion "Beeper" Nakamaejo (Jason Nakamaejo), Hope Renee "Pebbles" Hashimoto (Keith Hashimoto), Tritia Lynn "Dee-Dee" Cruz, Kaleikaumaka Cruz, Mitsuko 'Mits" Nakamaejo, Gavin Nakamaejo, and Kameron Hashimoto, and was preceded in death by Ignacio Taijeron Cruz (Batolu), Emelia Sablan Cruz (Chode), Estanislao "Bart" Domingo Bartolome, and Rosa Blas Bartolome Hinabe (Eka).
