Wallace Keala Nuuanu, 85, of Waimanalo, passed away on April 1, 2026, at Queen’s Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. He was known for many years as a bartender at the Ala Moana Hotel Poolside Bar, where he was remembered fondly by family, friends, and all who knew him.
He is survived by his sons, Kalani Nuuanu (Sheryl) and Kalei Nuuanu; his daughter, D. Nuuanu; and his grandchildren, Nini, Pili, Tehani,Keanu and Steisha… He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory.
Services will be held at Hawaiian Memorial on June 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
