

Wendell Gene “Wengie” Haole, 66, of Waimānalo, passed away in Kailua on Saturday, August 10, 2024 joining his mother, Alice C. Kaina Haole, father, William P. Haole, Jr., step-mother Lilia Halualani Haole, and brother, Louis Dutch Haole in Godʻs heavenly kingdom.
He is survived by six sisters, Valerie Leialoha Haole, Cheryl Puaʻala (Range) Niau [Kamuela], Naomi (Jeff) Bleakley [Graham, WA.], Donna (Sid) Hāʻole-Valenzuela [Salem, OR.], April Haole [Salem, OR.], Alberta Lilia Nakuea Haole; three Brothers, William P. Haole, III, William P. Haole, IV, James C. Haole, and 32 nieces and nephews.
Wendell was a faithful member and volunteer at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Kailua, Oahu and worked as a Mason Laborer and Truck Driver. He loved cooking and had a passion for “everything-surfing” – surfing, surf boards, surf competitions, surfing magazines, surf themed clothing, etc. – throughout his life.
Celebration of Life and Mass will be on Friday, October 18, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua, 61 N. Kalaheo Avenue in Kailua. Private Family Visitation will be at 9:30 AM, friend’s visitation at 10:00 AM, Mass at 11 AM and interment at 2:00 PM at the Hawaiian Memorial Park, 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy., Kaneohe, HI.
