

Alan Eugene Hobson passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of strength, dedication, and unwavering loyalty. Alan was a loving husband, devoted father, and a proud firefighter who served his community for 35 years with honor and integrity.
Alan dedicated his career to the fire service, where he was known as a leader of strength, dedication, and honor. His commitment to protecting others defined his professional life and earned him deep respect from those who served alongside him. Retirement did not diminish his pride in that service or the bonds he formed through it.
Above all else, Alan was fiercely devoted to his family. Once you earned his trust, you were considered family for life. His loyalty, protective nature, and deep love for those closest to him were hallmarks of the man he was. To his most beloved friends, Alan was affectionately known as “Hife,” a name that reflected the closeness and trust he shared with those dearest to him.
Alan is survived by his beloved wife, Linda L. Hobson; his daughter, Staci Hobson-Birnell (Malcolm W. Birnell); his sons, Matthew Hobson and Kenny Denk (Katrina Denk); and Lori Denk. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Zac Birnell, Calli Birnell (Christian Escobar), Gage Birnell, Shane Birnell (Samantha Birnell), Lindsey Clark-Denk (Stuart Slyter), Michael Denk, Emma Denk, Colton Denk (Lauren Denk), Josie Howard, and Dustin Howard. He is also survived by extended family members Tyler Channel and Kayla Channel. Alan was a cherished great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren: Peighton, Aviyah, Axel, Caspian, Cillian, Cecilia, and Aribella.
Alan Eugene Hobson’s life was one of service, love, and honor. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
