Albert "Craig" Dougherty Sr, age 70, of LaCygne, Kansas passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at his home. Craig is preceded in death by his wife Laura Dougherty and youngest son Albert Craig Dougherty, Jr.
Craig was born March 24, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas to Albert and Georgia (McClain) Daugherty and lived in Edwardsville, Kansas and Kansas City, Kansas before moving to Tanglewood Lake in 2005. He loved Hank Williams and Elvis Presley. Craig operated his own Hauling business and the family Septic Pumping business. He loved to talk and never knew a stranger.
Craig is survived by his son, Keith Dougherty and his wife Chantel of Ottawa, Kansas and his daughter Sherri Herndon and her husband Vince of Reeds Spring, Missouri. Sister Ethel Hylton of Ottawa, Kansas. Along with 11 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, a "lake daughter" and many friends who loved and laughed with him.
A funeral services for Albert will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Burial in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
