Betty Crawford-Swisher

Betty Jean Crawford - Swisher, 94, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Betty was born January 11, 1922 in Chillicothe, Missouri to Walter and Hazel (Whitacre) Kincaid. She was employed at General Motors Fairfax plant for 30 years. Betty was preceded in death by her husband William Crawford, husband Chet Swisher, parents Walter and Hazel Kincaid, a sister Marilyn Stapleton, and a brother Stanley Kincaid. She is survived by her brother Bill Kincaid, Kansas City Kansas, her step children and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 10:00 - 11:00 AM and funeral Services start at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Porter Funeral Home located at 1835 Minnesota Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the KC Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
