Beverly J. Adams, 72, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at Presbyterian Manor. Mausoleum services will be 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 20th at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas.
There is a special place in heaven for Bev. I hope the pearly gates are covered with yellow roses and butterflies. She always worried about everyone but herself. Bev married Roger Marquardt and later adopted three children, John, Brian, and Holly. After raising the children, Roger and Bev ended their marriage. She worked at IBM as a key punch operator for 12 years and made lifelong friends, especially Phil Weaver, who has been her friend and companion for fifty years. Bev also loved spending time with her brother Dave and his wife Janet; and her other family. She will be truly be missed. Special thanks to the staff of Presbyterian Manor and Charlie for their compassionate care.
