Beverly graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, KS in 1955. After graduation Beverly went to work at Southwestern Bell in Kansas City, KS for many years. After leaving Southwestern Bell, she went on to own/operate an in-home daycare until retiring.
Beverly was an avid sports fan, never missing a televised KU Jayhawks men’s basketball, Sporting KC, KC Chiefs, KC Royals, tennis match or fast pitch softball game if at all possible. She also enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking and crafting with her sisters for her family’s Christmas presents. Beverly enjoyed taking her children and grandchildren camping. She also loved taking family vacations with her favorite place being Estes Park, CO.
Beverly is survived by her daughters Kathleen Buxton and Lori Trowbridge (Kevin), Step-sons Keith Pearce (Marie) and John Pearce, Step-daughters Allene Keating (Lee) and Marsha Pohl (Wendell); grandchildren Jeremy Trowbridge (Kim Grady), Nicole Trowbridge and Tonya Thomas (Chris); great-grandchildren Addyson and Genevieve Trowbridge, and Kale and Liam Thomas as well as many step-grandchildren and step- great grandchildren; sister Ellen Yarnell (Ray); and many nieces and nephews.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, son Ronald Dean Stack, step-son Richard L. Pearce, sisters Yvonne Graham and Carol Leach and brothers-in-law Jack Graham and Kenneth Leach.
A visitation for Beverly will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM officiated by Jason Yarnell.
