Carol Jeannette Ahlstedt, age 79, of Kansas City, KS passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 16, 2025. She was born April 13, 1945 to Carroll Ahlstedt and Rosella Maskil. She was known to her family and friends as “Granny”.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Rosella; her husband of 46 years, Donald “Papa” Mushaney; her only daughter, Tracy Ahlstedt; and great grandson, David Fracul.
She is survived by her brother, Donald Ahlstedt; grandchildren, Jamie Fracul, Philip Fracul, Sandra Ahlstedt; great grandchildren, Tracy “Lynn” Patton, Kara Patton, Elora Fracul, Iris Fracul, Mya Snyder, Payton Snyder, Catalina Hernandez; and her dog and best buddy, Annie.
A visitation for Granny will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 PM.
Carol will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
