Today, I just found out about Carol's passing.

I am in shock.

In fact, I am crying as I am writing this.

Grief certainly is not fun for anybody!

Be it family or friends.

Words can not adequately express the way that I felt about Carol.

How could this have happened a year ago, without me knowing about it?

I changed my email address in mid-2012. 

I thought that I let Carol and Jerry know it. Maybe, I didn't. If I didn't, I sure feel really guilty now!

I have had this funny feeling for a couple of weeks that something was wrong in the universe.

I got on the internet today and found out about Carol's passing.

Now, I come to find that my favorite lady has passed away and that I will never be able to see Carol again, or give her a hug.

Carol, I never told you this while you were alive. 

I thought of you as my second Mom.

I so wish that I had told you that while you were alive. 

Now, I have lost both of my Moms.

Carol, you were such a gracious, well-educated, well-mannered lady who had a very sharp and humorous wit.

You were the absolute most well read individual that I have ever met in my entire life!

You were so knowledgeable in a plethora of subjects.

You could debate on virtually every subject in an outstanding manner.

You had such a wonderful philosophy.

In fact, Carol, you and Sandy are the two absolutely most intelligent and sincerest women that I have ever been blessed to meet in my entire life!

You are truly missed, and will be missed for a long time to come.

As long as your family and friends have a memory of this earthly life.

I was truly blessed in having known you, Jerry, Sandy, Diane, Steven, and Granddad Harold.

There is definitely a big hole in my heart today! It will take a long time to heal!

Jerry, Sandy, Diane, and Steven: Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts and sentiments with you on this guest book.

You were all so blessed to have known Carol for far longer than I did!!!

If there is anyway that Carol can email us from Heaven -- I am sure that she will find a way!

Carol, since you are now in Heaven and in a position to really know, please tell all of us whether or not Douglas Adams was correct when he wrote: "The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything is 42."

I want to pass along our sincere sympathy for you Jerry and not knowing Sandy I still want her to know I enjoyed her Mom's friendship for several years here in Kansas > We never ran out of things to talk about as we lived a lot of the same places through out the years and we both enjoyed our bowling time ! We forwarded often on-line and had the same beliefs in many things in life ! I know she is in a much better place but she will be missed by many. Carol always made us feel like part of the family when we visited.  There were many evenings of laughter around the table.  Bowls of chili, bundt cake meatloaf that lit Jerry's dad on fire, Solo cup wars and a house full of animals. Some 2 legged and some 4 legged.  
We love you, Carol!

Carol brought so many gifts into so many lives. She will forever live on in our hearts. Jerry & Sandy, may your heart and soul find peace and comfort. Love, Sherry
