Carolyn Sue DeVosha

Sue attended Rosedale High School and graduated from Humansville High School in 1965.

She married George in June of 1965. In 1969 they welcomed a daughter, Tammy Sue.

Sue worked 29 years at Swan Engineering before retiring in 2015 as their Credit Manager.

Sue enjoyed bowling, craft shows, water garden tours, gardening, and hosting dinners. She was often found at a ballfield or basketball court, watching her grandkids at their many sports activities. She was their biggest fan!

Sue was preceded in death by her Dad, (Claude) Bud Haley and brother, Jerry Breedlove.

Survivors include her husband George of 58 years of marriage, daughter Tammy DeVosha Pope, son-in-law Steve, grandkids Madison and Garrison Pope. Her mother Alice Haley, twin brother Norman, brother Lonnie, sisters Dianna, and Cathy, many nieces and nephews, including many close neighbors and friends. To know Sue, was to love her, with her beautiful smile, loving heart and helpful ways!

A celebration of life will be held on April 27, 2024 at 3 PM at Chapel Hill, 701 N. 94th, KCKS 66112.
