Charlie Raymond Wells was born on July 15, 1942, in Morrilton, Arkansas, to Wood and Pauline Wells. He was the third of six children.
He attended L.W. Sullivan High School in Morrilton, Arkansas, where he met his beloved wife of 58 years, Betty (Taylor) Wells. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and served honorably. Upon returning from service, he relocated to Kansas City, Kansas, where he and Betty were united in marriage in 1967.
It was during this time that Charlie was introduced to the Word of God and became a devoted Christian. In 1974, Charlie and his family became members of Roswell Church of Christ, where he remained a faithful member until his passing.
Charlie and Betty were blessed with six children and a host of beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His legacy of faith, love, and family will be cherished by all who knew him.
