Christopher George Pittman

Christopher George Pittman, 49, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away at his home on Friday November 26th, 2010. A memorial service for Chris will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, December 6th, 2010 at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Chris was born May 20, 1961 in Kansas City, KS, and had also lived in California and Colorado, before moving to Overland Park in 2009. Chris worked as a maintenance man at Pointe Royal Apartments during his time here in Overland Park. While in California he worked in a framing shop where he framed and touched-up paintings. While in Colorado, he worked as a maintenance man for Wilderness Properties as well as a certified pool and spa operator for Kaupus Water. He loved painting and fishing. Chris was reluctant to sell his paintings, thinking of them as his children, but he gifted them to several lucky friends and family members. Chris is survived by his father, Gerald Pittman of Mesa, Arizona; his mother, Barbara Pittman of Olathe, Kansas; brother, Shawn Pittman of Colorado and Belize; Uncle, Warren Pittman of Shawnee, Kansas; and Cousins, John Beck, Sr., John Beck, Jr., Jeffrey Beck, Barry Pittman and Craig Pittman.
