Daniel J. “Dan” Warren, 72, of KCK, passed away April 2, 2019. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00pm, with funeral services to follow at 3:00pm, Tuesday, April 9th at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Dan was born May 29, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from Turner High School and attended KCKCC and Calvary Bible College. Dan married the love of his life, Betty Jo Holenbeck on June 16, 1967. He owned and operated his own businesses, first, K32 Auto Supply then Master Door Service and First Impressions Garage Doors; he retired in 2002. Dan was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He loved racing, building cars, tractors and chasing hot air balloons. Dan had a great sense of humor and loved making others laugh.

Dan is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Jo Warren of the home; his daughters, Amanda Sabia and husband Chris of Overland Park, and Julia White and husband Jason of Overland Park; his grandsons, Jax and Levi White; his favorite sister-in-law, Marcia Gottschalk and her husband Bill and family of Prairie Village, KS; as well as other relatives and friends.
