Dawn Lynn Harrell

Dawn Lynn Harrell, 48, of KCK, passed away Dec. 26, 2018. Family led services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association and Autism Speaks.

Dawn was born May 12, 1970 in KCK to Donald and Margaret Harrell. She attended J.C. Harmon High School. Dawn was an avid reader and collector and loved going to Conventions to add special items to her collection, especially Living Dead dolls and Homies. She was devoted to her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and her brother, Jason Harrell.

Dawn is survived by her partner, David Henke; her brother, Jerrad L. Harrell (Christina); her sister-in-law, Sherry Harrell; her nieces and nephews, Chelsey K. Vanderwerf, Zachary Harrell (Cassaundra Ogran), Jesse Harrell, Angel Harrell, Carli Heckert, Katie Heckert, and Jacob Moser; and her great-nephew, Brayden Vanderwerf, as well as other relatives and friends.

Ill never forget her showing up at my wedding reception and saving the day with her awesome camera and photo taking skills and we ended up being asked to leave there and went and closed another bar down that night and many other nights/bars after that with Eddie, Jason and Jared man we had a lot of good times, but theres so many more memories like when wed be surprised by her and David popping in at our parties, always loved her visits... I can go on forever, Dawn was a great friend and I will miss her alot as well as her brother Jason and her mom, all three were amazing people and will be so missed!
