Dennis was born November 8th 1952 to Henry (Ed) and Winifred (Sewell) Taylor. He graduated from Washington High school (KCK) in 1970. While working at General Motors, he proceeded to complete his Associate’s Degree in Mathematics from Kansas City Kansas Community College. He continued to work for General Motors until his retirement 46 years later.
Dennis was an Active and Prominent Mason including Scottish Rite 32nd degree K.C.C.H, York Rite, V:. E:. Deputy Grand Commander, Knights Templar, Shriners and many other a-pendent organizations. Dennis loved to hunt and fish and would go on yearly fishing trips to Canada. He was very active in his Church, as well.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karla; Son, Dennis (Jennifer); Son, Sean (Jeny); Daughter, Ashley (Sarah) and Son, Tyler. Grandchildren; Allison, Julian, Davion and Zaeden as well as Great Granddaughter, Aria and many Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 2nd, at the Basehor United Methodist Church from 10am to 11:30am with Services to follow. Procession and burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery immediately following services.
