Dolores "Honey" Kubicki

Dolores M. Kubicki, 80, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away December 14th at home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 19th at Chapel Hill – Butler, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will follow the Mass in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to KC Hospice.

Dolores was born July 17, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to John and Marion Costello. She grew up in Pittburgh before moving to Kansas City, Kansas where she married Edwin Kubicki on June 19, 1954. Dolores was known by “Honey” and she was a long time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and worked for H&R Block for over 35 years. Honey loved her family more than anything & will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Honey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin; her brothers, Jack, Robert, Thomas and Lawrence Costello; and her sister, Gerri Danto.

She is survived by her sons, Ken Kubicki of Kansas City, Kansas, Raymond Kubicki (Diana) of Tonganoxie, Lawrence Kubicki (Becky) of Kansas City, Kansas, Scott Kubicki of Lenexa, and Daniel Kubicki of Kansas City, Kansas; as well as seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and many other friends and family members.
