She was born on March 2, 1932 to Reece and Belle Daugherty. She is preceded in death by her mother (Belle Daugherty), father (Reece Daugherty), sister (Esther Wilborne) and brother (Robert Daugherty).
Survivors include her children, Linda Hiles, William Newberry (Nancy), Georgie Roberts (Johnny) and Jerry Newberry (Janic e). Dorothy also leaves 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, niece & nephew.
Grave side services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112.
