Dorothy Marie Straub, 85, passed away October 3, 2025 in Springdale, Arkansas. Visitation will be October 8, from 10 to 11 am at Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (in Kansas City, KS) with service following. Lunch will be served after the service. Following lunch burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
Dorothy was born June 2, 1940 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late William and Dorothy Ella Stephens. On February 8, 1958, she was united in marriage to her husband Donald A. Straub. They were married 51 years until his passing in 2009. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by son, Steve Straub, and grandson, Chris Straub. She is survived by sons, Don Straub (Kathie), and Ronnie Straub (Louise). She is also survived by brothers, James A. Stephens, William Stephens Jr., sisters, Dixie Hope, Ruby Gonzales, Mary Towns, six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
