Even though she was my mother in law, I saw her as much more than that. I had the most fun with her because we weren't supposed to "like" each other as in-laws :), and she lived to pick on me, and vice versa. I knew I could always get her to laugh no matter what. Deep down, I know she cared, as she asked about my parents several times before they passed in 2018. She was funny, caring, supportive, and the best mother in law a guy could have.
