Elaine M. Sibley

Elaine M. Sibley, 59, passed away June 8, 2013. A visitation will be held June 13th from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, June 13th at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 14th at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St. KCKS. Interment will follow Mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Elaine lived in Kansas City, KS the majority of her life. She was a member at St. Patrick’s Parish, St. Anthony’s Circle, and also part of the Altar Society at St. Pat’s. On January 7, 1978, Elaine married Ralph Sibley. Together, they had two children; Lori & Phillip. Elaine spent her life working from the home whether it be taking the children to their activities, cooking meals, or making sure everyone had clean laundry. She enjoyed painting, crafts, spending time with her grand-daughter and loved to travel.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle & Evelyn and brother, Martin Englehart. She is survived by her husband; Ralph Sibley, son; Phillip Sibley, daughter; Lori (Dan) East, granddaughter; Keira East, sisters; Sandra Hennessey and Marilyn Theiss, and brother; Wayne Englehart.
