Fred Kendrick, 69, passed away at home surrounded by family on February 10, 2017. Fred was born in Kansas City, KS on July 11, 1947 to Dale and Lois Kendrick. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda; brother, David and wife Susan; sister, Margie and husband Jerry Elliott; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Fred was a 1965 graduate of Wyandotte High School and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He is a retiree of Lucent Technologies after 27 years.
Visitation will be at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112 on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services with Honors will be on Friday, Feb. 17 at 9:00 am at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd., Leavenworth, KS 66048. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Heartland Hospice.
