

Fredrick John Beor of Basehor, Kansas age 81, passed away Friday, December 15th, 2023 at St Luke's North Hospital. He was surrounded by close family and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 26th, from 6-7:30 pm; funeral to be held Wednesday, December 27, at 10:30 am. Lunch and time to share will follow at First Baptist Church of Basehor, 1410 N. 155th Street, Basehor, Kansas 66007.
Fredrick John Beor was born December 16th, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Benjamin George and Rosella Beor. He graduated from Eskridge High School in Eskridge Kansas in 1960, He was united in marriage with Sherrian Richardson, August 21st, 1971, until her passing on August 31st, 2009. He was then united in marriage with Violet Pence August 11th, 2011, until her passing March 27th, 2023. Fred worked for International Harvester in KC as a diesel mechanic until it burned and closed. He then worked at Concrete Materials in KCK as lead fleet mechanic for 18+ years. He retired from Kansas City Peterbilt KCK as a diesel mechanic in 2007. Fred enjoyed being a Boy Scout Leader for many years. He was an active member of First Baptist Church Basehor, Kansas. He loved helping people working on cars, camping, boating, teaching people how to water ski, restoring Chevrolet pickups, and traveling.
Fred had a great love for his friends and family. His favorite bible verses was John 3:16.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, sister Arlene Locke, her husband Horace, daughter Shelly, son Bryan and niece Emily Jones.
He is survived by his sisters Marge Bower, husband Gale, Barbie Synder, Mary Campbell husband Steve. His daughters Peggy Johnson, husband Troy, Pam Gilpin, husband Jason, Teresa Osborn, husband Robert, and son-in-law, PD. His Grandchildren Crystal and Quentin, Tabitha and Brad, Darrien, Chelsea and Nick, Alicia and Koll, Nicole, Peyton, Carlee, and Rylee. Great Grandchildren include Kaelyn, Lane, Teagan, Robert, Lily, Blakely, and Gatlin. He loved many nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews and will be missed by all.
