Gary Kenneth Coyle of Kansas City, Kansas, age 65, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Gary was born on November 6, 1955 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A visitation for Gary will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Following the visitation, a funeral service will begin at 10:00 am also at Chapel Hill-Butler. This service will also be available live on Chapel Hill-Butler’s Facebook Page. Gary worked for 39 years before retiring in 2014 from Kellogg’s – Local 184-L as a mixer’s helper. He enjoyed attending concerts, taking road trips, going to the dog park with his furry companions. Gary also had a love wolves and listening to classic country music. Gary loved spending time with family and friends while sitting in his rocker on the porch. He was an avid sports fan and his favorites including cheering for the KC Royals, MN Twins, T-Bones/Monarchs, KC Chiefs, Vikings, Canaries, and Mavericks. Gary had a big heart, full of knowledge and a good, strong religious connection.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Carol and Kenneth Coyle; son, Jason Coyle; and daughter, Alicia Coyle.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 41 years, Phyllis Coyle; daughters, Maria Fields and spouse Edmund, and Carolina Foster and her spouse James; son, Gideon Coyle and his wife Christina; grandchildren, Dean, Deniese, and Leo; sister, LaVina Staab; brother Gordon Coyle and his spouse Kim; along with many others that fondly referred to Gary as Dad and Grandpa.
Gary was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
