I received your note today about Ed's passing. You don't know me, but Ed found our home passing through Nortonville on his way to Blaine and became a regular egg and vegetable customer for a couple of years. He was a very special big hearted man, that I always loved to try out new recipes on when he stopped by. As we both came from KCK, we shared common memories of Bennett's swimming pool and the way Wyandotte County used to be. When we left there in 2004, we still kept in touch by phone until last year with my illness. I wish I could have seen him again. He was so special, funny and caring, and loved that dog of his. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I am sure Ed touched many lives in many positive and joyous ways - at least he did ours. If we can help in any way please let us know.

Dear Steve, Kris, boys and extended family. I got teary when I saw Kris's posting of your Dad's obituary. Losing your Dad takes you back to those times as a child when he was the biggest thing in your world. Steve, if you are any indication, your Dad's best legacy is the wonderful family he and your Mom raised. Love and Prayers, Chuck and Sharon Chabal and family.
