Ger Xiong Her

Ger Xiong Her, age 79, of Kansas City, Kansas went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2023 surrounded by her family and loved ones. She is survived by her sons, Kou, Kyle, Scott, daughter Laura Lin, and 11 grandchildren, Samuel, Timothy, Kenny, Maxine, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Jessica, Michael, Claudia, Tyrese and Kylie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nhia Yer Her, daughter Pang Her, father Nou Ying Xiong, mother Yia Hang, brothers Soua Xai Xiong, Chue Xiong, Youa Teng Xiong and sister Tong Yang.

She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a true friend. She loved life, people and wearing her Hmong clothes. She was kind and loving and had affected those around her with her warmth and smile. Her favorite color was pink and she loved flowers and growing them.

Her two greatest passions were gardening and singing and praising the Lord. She was truly devoted and faithful in her walk with God. She was a prayer warrior and worshipper. Now she has joined the angel’s choir and will forever be in our hearts until we meet again.
