

Harry Moore, 76, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away July 6, 2016 at home. Memorial services will be at 4:00 pm, Saturday, July 9th at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
Harry was born April 28, 1940 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Willie and Beatrice Moore. He graduated from Pittsburg High School and lived in Chicago for five years before moving to Kansas City, Kansas in the early 1970s. Harry attended vocational school for 2 years to become a mechanic and always enjoyed working on cars. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life and was a member of a local union and retired in 1997. He married Yu-Lien Fang on August 30, 1997. Harry enjoyed watching all sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Beatrice Moore; and his sister, Olivia.
Harry is survived by his wife Yu-Lien Moore; his children, Michael Moore (Emma), Mickel Gerrett, and Marcina Moore; his stepchildren, Teresa Wooten, and Derrick Wooten; his grandchildren, Ciera Wooten, Derrick Wooten, Jr., and Aisha Weatherspoon; his sisters, Lindell Taylor, and Ernastine Robinson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
