Helen Margaret Saindon, 83, of Lansing, Kansas passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 25, 2011. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Helen was born on October 19, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Michael J. and Anna (Ecker) Horvath. She was a great mom to all her children and grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by: her parents, husband: Oscar R. Saindon, and her immediate brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children: Mary Ann Saindon, Roger M. Saindon, Richard Saindon, Maggie Brown, Paul Saindon, Barbara Ketchum, Joanne Loch, John Saindon and Michael Saindon. Left behind to cherish her memory are her 16 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date. Inurnment will take place in Mankato, Minnesota. Memorial contributions may be made to your local chapter of “Parkinson’s Disease Association.
