Hollis Roger Burgin III

Hollis Roger Burgin III “Bubba”, 32, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on January 9, 2016. He was born April 25, 1983 to the union of Hollis Roger Burgin, Jr. and Lorraine (Starr) Burgin in Kansas City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pastor Decker and Hazel Starr; and two uncles, Henry Sanders and John Starr. Bubba accepted Christ at an early age. He received his education in the Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri school districts. He leaves to mourn his passing: his mother, Lorraine Burgin and father, Hollis R. Burgin, Jr.; four sons, Radarion Glover of Fulton, Missouri, Hollis Burgin IV, Lasalle Burgin and Kahlil Burgin; one daughter, Lemaesha Brown; two brothers, Carlos Starr of Illinois and Lasalle Burgin; two sisters Andrea Jones and Katrina Burgin; devoted grandparents, Hollis R. Burgin, Sr. and JoAnn Burgin; two stepchildren, Mahcylon and Ivoreion; special love, Katrina Taylor; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 23, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. The interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Kansas. The visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel.
