Hope Elaine Wright, 67, Kansas City, Kansas passed away February 7, 2019. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM, with a funeral service at 2 PM, Monday, February 18, 2019 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. Entombment will immediately follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are suggested to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64145.
Hope was born on March 16, 1951 in Brinkley, Arkansas. She retired from Huhtamaki when she was 64.
Hope will be forever loved and missed by her family. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 42 years, Leroy Wright; daughter, Tammy Link and her husband John; two granddaughters, Desiree Amaya and her husband Christian and Dana Fortner; eight great grandchildren, Layla, Devin, Landyn, Nadia, Blayze, Daisy, Christian, and Lillyan; sisters, Pamela Storms and Donna Rich; brothers, James Harms, Gary Harms, Lawrence Bayless and Michael Bayless; and her beloved dog, Boulder VanDrake.
Hope is joining in Heaven her sons, Earl Jay Burriss, Jr. and Baby Boy Wright; mother, Dorothy Bayless; and brother, David Alan.
