Jack Edward Stockhoff, 91 Newburgh, IN passed away June 10, 2018 at home. A visitation will be from 1-2 PM with a funeral service at 2:00 PM, Friday June 15, at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., KCK. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the White Church Christian Church Building Fund, 2200 N. 85th, Kansas City, KS 66109.
Jack was born December 20, 1926, in Kansas City, KS to William Edward and Elzada Pope Stockhoff. He grew up in the Kansas City, KS area, in a little community call White Church and graduated from Washington High School. Jack married the love of his life, Shirley Campbell and they enjoyed 58 and a half wonderful years together.
Jack owned his own construction company for years and then worked for Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens selling pre-need cemetery plans and retired from there.
Jack was a member of White Church Christian Church and the Masonic Delaware Lodge for many years. Since moving to Evansville, IN, he has been a member of First Christian Church of Evansville. He enjoyed pheasant and quail hunting and even doing a little fishing now and then. He loved any social event and groups he took part in, especially playing bingo and going to the casino occasionally.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Stockhoff and his parents, William and Elzada Stockhoff. He is survived by his sons, Gregory E. Stockhoff and Bradley D. Stockhoff and his wife Diane; 5 grandchildren Adam, Rebecca, Nicole, Jackie and Michael; and 8 great-children, Sophia, SJ, Emma, Avery, Conner, Layla, Jackson and Jocelyn.
