Jack M. Walton, 75, Kansas City, Kansas passed away December 10, 2017. A visitation will be held from 2-4 PM, Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Association.
Jack was born on September 4, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri to Felix and Ada Walton. He served in the Army in the Vietnam War in 1964-1965. He worked for 10 years for Wilson’s Packing Company and then retired after 30 years from General Motors.
Jack was President of the UAW Local 31 Bass Club for 15 years. In his free time he enjoyed being outdoors and bass fishing.
Jack was preceded in passing by his parents; sister, Felicia Walton; brother, Johnnie Walton; and sister-in-law, Debbie Walton.
Jack is survived by his wife of 51 years, Becky; children, Darren (Gina) Walton, Duane (Jill) Walton and Jackie (Kurt) Schutte; six grandchildren, Tyler and Mackenzie Walton, Cody and Caitlin Walton and Kyle and Kaylee Schutte; and brother, Kenneth Walton.
