Jackie was born December 14, 1951 in KCK to the late Kastle and Anna Hackney. She loved her family and offered her strength and support to every person she met. Jackie always hugged you like she meant it and smiled as if it was the first time she'd ever seen you. She had a charming personality and was a true inspiration to all she came in contact with. She possessed an amazing ability to send you away better than she found you, uplifted with her inspiring words and feeling uniquely loved. Throughout her journey three things always remained constant: Her smile, her faith and her unwavering love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and she is survived by her daughters, Tarisa Hackney (G.D.N.) and Simona Cheek (John); her grandson, Daniel LeDesma; her furry son Steel Bones Hackney; her siblings, George McGrew and Leota Altzman as well as many other family and friends.
