James A. Newton, 74, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away October 20, 2017. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. James was born the son of Vernie and Pauliene Newton on July 2, 1943. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Newton; son, David Newton; daughter, Betty Jo Diebold; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
