John H. White, 73, of Kansas City, KS passed away October 31, 2012 at home. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 9 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., KCK, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
John was born June 10, 1939 in Jackson, Mississippi to Henry and Mattie (Martin) White. He graduated from South Panola High School in Jackson and worked as an over-the-road truck driver until 2003 when he retired.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jackie White, mother Mattie White, sister Pearl White, brother Bill White, and son Victorious. John is survived by his friend and confidante Michael Zewalk, three daughters Cecelia, Karen and Natalie White; nieces Tanya White and Belinda Scott; nephew Michael White and a host of other friends and relatives.
John lived life the best he could and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
