Johnnie was born on May 25, 1951 in Memphis, TN to Carter Allen and Maybell Minton, but lived most of his life in Kansas City, KS. He was a retired truck driver.
Johnnie was a collector of everything and an expert connoisseur of American beer.
Johnnie is preceded in passing by both parents, his brothers Don, Carter, Jr and Ron.
Survivors include former wife Twila Minton. Sons Kevin (Nikki) Jason (Ellen) Jeremy and Tim (Lisa) grandchildren Cara, Ryan, Austin, Kevin Jr, Emily, Levi, Abbi, Leah, Angelina, Jeremy and Evan. Great grandson Bentley. Brother Larry.
Johnnie will be deeply missed by many and his absence will leave a great void.
A visitation for Johnnie will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112, followed by a funeral services from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
