Josie had a spark within her that could not be ignored, and she always lived her life on her own terms. Unapologetically herself, Josie could walk into a quiet room and shift the energy to be something vibrant. Beneath the surface was a tender heart that felt everything deeply and never stopped searching for peace.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents George & Ethel Price, Larry & Kay Reid and her beloved Aunt Cathy. Survivors include her mother, Jeanne Price, brother Alex Reid and father, Douglas Reid. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Services will be held at Chapel Hill funeral home, Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Public Visitation~10am-noon, with a memorial service to follow. The family requests donations to help pay funeral expenses, in lieu of flowers.
