Karen was born on December 5, 1943, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Clarence and Ileane (Jaster) Jacobs.
On October 25, 1963, Karen married the love of her life, Norman Skaggs. Together, they shared nearly 63 years of marriage and were blessed with one daughter, Kerri.
Karen enjoyed reading, crocheting, bowling with Norman, and, most of all, spending time with her family.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Norman Skaggs; her daughter, Kerri (Ryan) Williams; her granddaughters, Dominique (Trenton) Smith, Laura Meza, and Bella Williams; her grandson, Lake Williams; her great-grandson, Bodie Smith; and her great-great-granddaughter, Wrenley Smith. She is also survived by her sister, Leslie (John) Tuckness, and her brother, Dennis Jacobs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ileane Jacobs, and her brothers, Steven Jacobs and Richard Jacobs.
Karen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her.
