Kelly Michelle Lair, 47, passed away on June 2, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO after a battle with cancer. Kelly was born February 26, 1979, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Mark and Julie (Ayres) Lair.
Kelly pursued work that reflected a sincere care for others, earning her EMT license from KCKCC.
An amazing artist, Kelly brought beauty and intention to what she created, and she occasionally did advertising for local businesses, sharing her talent in ways that supported her community and gave her creativity a practical voice. She was a caring and loving mother and daughter.
Kelly is survived by her parents, Mark & Julie; her daughters, Lily Spudic and Francesca Dishman-Lair; her brother, Jesse Lair; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. A Graveside Service will follow on June 25, 2026, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Kelly will be remembered with respect and gratitude; for her giving spirit, her willingness to lend a hand, and the enduring care she offered to those around her.
