Lanny was born to Harry and Lois Davis in Highland Park, Michigan on July the 14th of 1949. a Naval Veteran and a retired member of Millwright Local 1529 he had a passion for mechanics and hard work. It was this passion that he later passed on to his sons whom became Millwrights as well.
Although his motto was hard work Lanny was no stranger to adventures. Sailing in St, Croix, hiking in the Rockies, hunting bear in Ontario, and yes even once catching a wild turkey barehanded while on his Harley, he knew of life lived and not life yearned for.
A devoted loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather Lanny's greatest joy rested in the time he spent with family, friends and in the word of God. He never failed to share his faith and wanted nothing more than salvation for those around him. His absence will be felt, but he will never be far from our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father Harry Frank Davis, his mother Lois Rhimona Davis, and his brother Jerry Don Davis.
Survived by his sons Adam Davis, Aaron Davis ( wife Amanda Davis), four grandchildren Trenton Davis (wife Tiffany Davis), Tristan Davis, Kelson Davis, Sohalia Davis, three great grandchildren Ashley Davis, Sophia Davis, and Jane Davis; and brother, Ray Davis.
