

Larry Paul Wheeler born July 30, 1950 in Conway, Arkansas passed away on March 13, 2025. Larry is survived by his wife Vivian Wheeler, daughter Leah (Philip) Sipple, son Lance (Dawn) Wheeler, grandchildren Austin (Victoria) Sipple, Kaile Sipple, Courtney Wheeler, Logan Wheeler, great grand-daughter Aurora Sipple, sister Laura Wheeler-Lust, brother-in-law Edward Phegley, and several nephews and nieces.
Larry was proceeded in death by his father Troy Wheeler, his mother Zelle (Fulmer) Wheeler, his sister Linda (Wheeler) Phegley, and niece Tammy (Phegley) Cochran.
Larry was Vivian’s best friend, a great husband, loving father, and loving papa/grandpa. Larry played football and ran track at Turner high school before graduating in 1969. Larry and Vivian married in 1972 and were one month shy of 53 years of marriage when he passed away. Larry loved playing fast and slow pitch softball and coaching Leah and Lance in softball and baseball. Larry loved watching his grandchildren play baseball, softball, football, basketball, golf, soccer, and volleyball. Larry was a lifelong Arkansas Razorback fan and loved college sports. Larry enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, traveling, fishing, and gardening. Larry worked for TG&Y for 15 years prior to working for Gerber Moving and Storage for over 30 years. Larry will be forever loved and missed.
There will a celebration of life for Larry on March 28, 2025 from 5 pm to 7 pm held at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home located at 701 N 94th St, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
