Larry worked for TWA for 18 years, and then owned/operated Novotney Liquor Store for 27 years. In his TWA years he loved competing in the company softball and bowling leagues. In later life he was an avid golfer.
He was predeceased by his wife Doris (DJ), father John, his mother Julia, and his older brother Jerome (Jerry).
He is survived by sister Marilyn Thompson, sons John Novotney (Candy), Terry Novotney (Carla), grandchildren Nikki Beach (John), Lindsay Wake (Billy), Nick Novotney (Jessica), Craig Novotney (Susan), Michael Novotney (Cydney), and 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren on the way.
Due to the current pandemic no services are planned. Burial will be Chapel Hill Cemetery, 94th & State, K.C.KS.
