

Lillian Marshall, 77, passed away June 10th. Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 am, and Funeral Services at 11:00 am, all on Wednesday, June 17th at Stow Vow M.B. Church, 7060 Leavenworth Rd., Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Lillian was born in Friars Point, Mississippi on June 12, 1937 to the union of Velma Price and Theodore R. Weddington.
She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore R. Weddington, mother, Velma Price, brother, Theodore R. Weddington, Jr., and one step-granddaughter, Sheba Griffin.
Lillian accepted Christ at an early age at the Mt. Avery M.B. Church. She attended the Friars Point, Mississippi Junior High School. Lillian worked as the head cook at the Homesdale Convalescent Center until she retired. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and solving crossword puzzles. She loved life and her family.
Lillian leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Lee Andrew Marshall; one son, Ira Weddington, KCKS; one daughter, Gwendolyn Brown, Warren, MI; one step-daughter, Dorothy James (Milton), Clarksdale, MS; one brother, Archie Weddington, Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Rosalyn Brown, Lillian Kindred, Joshua McDaniel (Jessica), Jarvis Brown, US Navy; three step-grandchildren, Latonya James, Milton James, Jr., and Ahmad James, Clarksdale, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
