Linda Sue Fagan, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, passed away on April 12th, 2024 in Overland Park, Kansas. She was born on March 16th, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri to Edgar Eugene Denton and Marion Lee Lamar.
Linda's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and friends. Her late husband John Michael Fagan Jr., whom she cherished deeply throughout their years together. Linda is survived by her brother Ronald E. Denton; daughter Carrie A. Totta; sons Anthony F. Totta and Justin R. Oakerson; as well as numerous grandchildren including Julia N. Huebert, Robert V. Huebert, Dominick A. Totta, Vincent S.Totta II , Kody Dyke, Leia J.Oakerson ; great-grandchildren Dominick A.Totta Jr., Victory R. Totta , Anthony E.Totta .
Linda was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in her adolescent years and was happy to learn from Psalms 83:18 that God has a personal name in which she could have a close relationship with Jehovah. She will be remembered not only for the love she had for her family but also for being a vivacious cosmetologist who brought joy to so many through her work with hair styling, makeup artistry, as well as nail and hand rejuvenation treatments.
Linda's passion extended beyond people to include animals - particularly dogs - which held a special place in her heart throughout her life.
Those who knew Linda would describe her as a firecracker – full of energy and enthusiasm that lit up any room she entered.
A funeral service will be held on April 19th at 2 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 8300 W. 79th St., Overland Park, Kansas where friends and family can come together to celebrate Linda’s remarkable life.
In the wake of this loss may we find solace in remembering the warmth of Linda’s smile and the kindness she shared with all those around her.
