Lois Bryant Lemon, born February 8, 1929 in Greenville, SC, one of ten children born to F. Demous Bryant and Annie Tinsley Bryant; died May 1, 2023 in Kansas City, KS. Lois married Alvin A. Lemon on January 6, 1952; she was widowed on June 18, 1994.
She is survived by son Robert B. Lemon of Lindale, TX; granddaughter Jillian Adcox (Steven), and great-grandchildren Hailey, Kylie, and Logan, of Tonganoxie, KS; sister Evelyn Prince of Greenville, SC; sister-in-law Ruth Todd of Falcon, MO; sister-in-law Nicky Lemon of Titusville, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who enjoyed homemaking and lovingly caring for her family. Her kindness and compassion will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Chapel Hill with interment immediately following.
