

from Kansas City KS. Katie B. Snow and Reverend Roosevelt Brown met baby boy on March
30, 1956. He grew up into the giant, teddy bear that was adventurous, hard working, witty and a
master of many trades. He made his mark not only in his family, but in his community as well.
He was called home on Thursday July 25, 2024 at the age of 68. He was surrounded by his
loving family and friends as he reunited with his oldest son Lonnie Painter, his mother Katie B.
Snow, his father Reverend Roosevelt Brown, mother-in-law Darlene Painter father-in-law Elvin
Painter, his sisters : Sally Snow, Geneva Snow and sister-in-law Bobbie Lavender and more of
our loved ones from our Nelson, Sauls, Ward and Guess family.
He lived his life loving on his family and friends and helped everyone! He graduated from
Wyandotte High School, home of the BULLDOGS!! Class of ‘74!! He was a man of immense
humor, wisdom, hard work and love for everyone, cherishing every moment spent with his loved
ones. His passions were driving dump trucks, carpentry, camping, fishing, traveling and
spending time with family and friends; always the life of the party. He enjoyed two wonderful
lifetimes being a full heart transplant, 19 year, survivor. He came back to us and continued on in
his purpose until he gave his all. His unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.
He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife Diana Snow; they were joined in union on
August 19, 1983. Also, his favorite daughter Celeste Clark, son Lonnie Snow Jr (Shana), 12
grandchildren: Alexandria Starr, Kevin Starr Jr., Mei-Naya Whiteside, Lonnie Snow III, Marcus
Allen, Lau-Nell Snow of Grandview, MO, Keelone James, Khloee Snow, Marcus Clark Jr.,
Kaylee Snow, Audi Betts, Grace Betts and 1 great grandchild: Spencer Jackson, brothers: Frank
Lavender Jr. and Eugene “Sonny” Snow of KCK, Larry Snow (Kay) of Houston, TX, sister:
Deborah Dickson of KCMO, brother-in-laws: Mike (Diane) Painter of Oak Grove, MO, David
(Renee) Painter of Tonganoxie, KS, Patrick Painter of KCK, sister-in-laws: Brenda Aquino, Mary
Painter, Sherry Rose (Terry Hayes) all of KCK, and a host of his “favorite” nephews, great
nephews, nieces, great nieces, and cousins. Special Acknowledgements: Taren Whiteside,
Trudy Stauffer, Greg Page, Bruce “Kookie” Jones, Prentice “Scooter” Osborne, Kellee Mart, Billy
Washington, along with his Egyptian Cobra, Dump Trucking, Tonk- and, Domino-playing family
