

Marjorie Dell (Henley) Fehrman, 83, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2009, at Pleasant Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center.Marjorie was born September 14, 1926, in Kansas City, Kan., to Carl F. and Hazel E. (Weeks) Henley. She worked as a candy maker at Russell Stover's before starting her family, and becoming a homemaker. Other occupations of Marjorie's included waitress and housekeeper.Marjorie grew up on a family farm enjoying the country and helping tend to the sheep and other animals. She enjoyed gardening, mushroom hunting, searching for arrowheads, cooking, and candy making- especially her Christmas candies. Marjorie is survived by her son Terry L. Alleman (wife Susie) of Lee's Summit, MO, son Stephen R. Alleman of Kansas City, KS, daughter Karen S. Collins (husband James) of Apopka, FL, son Robert E. Alleman (wife Kay) of Foristell, MO, son Russell W. Alleman (wife Karen) of Sammamish, WA, and daughter, Amber R. Blum of Blue Springs, MO, 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl F. Henley and Hazel E. (Weeks) Hunt, husband William R. Alleman, husband Orien G. Fehrman, brother, Robert A. Henley, and grandson Russell G. Alleman. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, Kan., 66112.
