Martha Nadine Mann of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on July 10th 2019 at North Care Hospice House surrounded by family. She was 95 years old. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 17th at 10:00 am at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112, with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Martha's name to, Samaritan Purse or We Love Kids Ministry.
Martha Nadine was born on June 10, 1924 to Robert and Stella (Ennes) Ward Kerr. She graduated from high school. Shortly after, WWII broke out and Martha assisted in building B25’s for her country. She loved her Lord, family, and friends with all her heart. She was very unselfish, hardworking, and independent and always loved helping others. She even lent her sister a favorite pink dress when she needed it the most. She spent several years servicing the community kids as a cafeteria cook.
Martha Nadine loved reading, she wouldn’t just grab one book but instead she would pull up a pile of books next to the chair to keep her busy. She loved quilting and sewing, making every family member their very own quilt. Listed as one of her greatest accomplishments was being a great mother. She was so dearly loved and will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Mann; parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by son, Richard (Pam) Mann; daughters, Bonnie (Bill) Daniels and Rosemary (Tom) Ceselski; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; along with numerous other family and friends.
