Mary (affectionally known as Mae) was a proud member of the Boilermakers Iron Workers Union for over 30yrs, retiring in 2001. She was also a proud member of the Unique Ladies Social Club.
Mary married her best friend and the love of her life, James Robinson on May 16th, 1996. It was during this same year that she was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness, where she attended the Brown congregation in Kansas City, KS. Mary was known for her generous heart and her love of sports. She especially loved the L.A. Lakers, KU basketball, and the Kansas City, Chiefs. She was a loyal friend who was always there, in the time of need, and opened her home to family and friends alike. Most importantly, Mary loved and was devoted to her entire family. She was the matriarch and helped raise multiple generations in her home. On any Friday night you could find Mary, Rose, and any number of her grandchildren, playing Spades, laughing, and just enjoying the ritual of being together.
