Buried my grandma @ 2pm today. she was at peace. I want to give thanks to all those who showed up today. And all those who have been there for me this past year. I want to give a special thanks to my job. There were several days I had to miss work, at times one or more days a week, If not more due to my grandmother's health. Not one time did my boss, or the shop foreman complain moan or groan about any of the situations I had going on. Instead I got, What do you need, Is there anything I can do, What can we do to help. I think I got one of the best jobs in the world. All the way down from the owners of the company. To my guys in the shop. To the truck drivers. You're all amazing. I am so proud and thankful knowing everyday when I go to work, I know. I'm not going to a job, I'm going to a small family and a group of friends I can rely on. Thank all you guys. Misty your dream come true, I was struggling having a hard time taking care of grandma. Taking care of myself, Trying to be a better man, a better person. You came to me out of the blue, out of nowhere. Misty I truly believe you're an angel in disguise. Thank you for all you have done for me and my family especially my grandma. I want to thank my ex, because through thick & thin no matter what our differences was. Jessika was always my grandma's pride and joy. I truly believe she did all she could do, To do what was right for my grandma.

Benjie, Justin, my best friend's Jack & Matt, my ol'man JoJo. Thank you guys for being a part of this. And helping me carry my grandma to her grave.

I think you all, Think everybody from my family to my very best friends. I could not have made it through any of this or done it without you guys. You're all amazing. Thank you......

I first met Maudine when I was 17 and dating her nephew Roger. She and Leland would come to Oklahoma to see her brother Floyd (Snip) as she called him and his wife Ann. Roger and I would go over and talk, and go out to eat with everyone. From the first time we met we had a special bond I can’t explain it. She was so good to me, it was an immediate friendship. Later when Roger and I married in 1979, she was my Aunt too. I always teased her. If we divorce , will you still be my Aunt Maudine and of course she said yes. From then on when I knew they were visiting Oklahoma. I was waiting at Snips House to see her. We had so many fun times. She came to my house and stayed for a week at a time. I drove her brother Francis to see Maudine and stay a few days with them. I am blessed to have met and known Maudine for 39 years. She was a big part of my heart. ❤️ Love Lisa.

Grandma always cracked me up and made me laugh. She will be greatly missed by so many. Leon, You are so blessed to have such a wonderful grandma who loved you very much. She was so Proud of you and the man you have become. She wanted you to have the best in Life no matter what. I know she meant the world to you and I know you’re going through a tough time right now. Just know I am always here for you. She may be gone, but her memories will always stay in our hearts and the hearts of everyone she loved and loves her. She was truly a special woman who made our lives happier and the world better. Heaven has gained another lovely angel.
The best way for us to remember her, is with a Smile on our faces. It may be one of the hardest things for us all & you to do right now. But know that is what your Grandma would like to see you happy and smiling at her memory.

Grandma was one of the kindest, sweetest, and most compassionate people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am one of the many that got the chance to meet her & work with her. I enjoyed my time with her, just being there, listen to me talk about anything, watch T.V., bake lots of homemade dishes & desserts. She loved licking the bowls! I will be forever grateful. She believed in me and everything I did. Her little gestures might have been nothing to her, but to me it meant the world. Every day she always had a smile on her face. She listened to me, laughed at my jokes, made me laugh. One time, I will never forget! I said someone ate all the cookies, there is a trail from the kitchen to her chair. She said Nubbs did it! The Dog. One day I heard a loud noise, then heard her say Nubbs did it! I said what did he do? She said Fart! She was laughing so hard! Leon I wanna thank you for giving me the chance to become close to such an Amazing woman, your grandma. She brought me so much Joy in the last few months.I have so many great memories with Her. She was a wonderful woman. She will never be forgotten! I can’t believe she is really gone! In the last few days, I have woke up & came in the living room hoping she will be sitting in her chair waiting for her coffee and the breakfast I made her that she loved to eat. She was such a kind and loving woman, who always had a bright smile & encouraging word. I had grown very close to her over the months, I can honestly say that she is one of the most courageous woman I have ever met. There was love in everything she did, she always found joy in the little things. Every time I had the chance to talk to her, she always gave very wise advice. I loved her smile, her wit, & sense of humor. There are so many things about her that I’m going to miss. Leon, your grandma was truly remarkable. She touched so many lives, and she spread happiness wherever she went. Even at her age, she was still so very sharp with the biggest sense of humor!

Words cannot Express how much Grandma Maudine impacted my life.. From being around as a child to helping my momma to being a best friend to momma after Bruce passed. She was an all around caring loving person that would always be there for you.. She would call if I had been to busy and ask how I was and be very specific.. She always told be to keep pursuing my dreams and that she was proud of me.. Breaking news about Momma broke my heart as it did hers.. I am glad I had her to visit and reminisce with...
